This variety produces a large, open, loose head of oak-shaped leaves that are dark green in the centre with bronze-red outer edges. Loose leaf lettuces are classified as 'cut and come again', allowing for ongoing leaf production throughout the harvest period. Its ability to withstand both cold and heat makes Cocarde particularly suitable for year-round cultivation.
