The following document outlines the terms and conditions that constitute The Eastern Field's Returns and Refund Policy. It details and processes and requirements involved in the return, refund, exchange, and cancellation of products for orders made by customers via our website.
The Eastern Field upholds a strong commitment to the quality of all products packaged and sold. Each item is thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged prior to dispatch, ensuring that they maintain the highest standards of quality upon delivery.
In the event that you receive a damaged item or are dissatisfied with a product, you may be entitled to return it for a refund or exchange, subject to inspection and approval by The Eastern Field.
Returns
To be eligible for a refund, customers must return the unsatisfactory product within 7 days of the purchase date.
To initiate the return of an item, you must contact us in writing via email as soon as possible after receiving your product, outlining a detailed description of the issue and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Please include digital photographs or video evidence of the situation to facilitate clearer communication and a quicker resolution, particularly if the box is damaged prior to being opened.
Following our assessment of the situation and agreement that a return is the best method to resolve the issue, you are required to return the item to us. The item must be sent back in its original packaging within 7 days of the purchase date, along with your order confirmation email as proof of purchase.
It is important to note that you will be responsible for all return delivery expenses. We strongly recommend using a registered courier service that provides tracking for your return. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage that may occur during transit back to The Eastern Field.
The Eastern Field's return policy does not apply in the following circumstances:
The customer has changed his/her mind about the purchased item
The product has sustained damage after being delivered
The customer fails to notify The Eastern Field within 7 days of delivery of the unsatisfactory condition of the goods received
Please note that due to the perishable nature of the plants, it is important that you are present for your delivery. The Eastern Field cannot be held accountable for the condition of the plants if they are unattended after the delivery has been made.
Refunds
After we receive your returned item and inspect its condition, we maintain the authority to determine if the items are defective and whether a refund will be granted.
You will receive an email notification regarding the approval status of your claim. If accepted, please allow a minimum of 10 days from the date of approval for the processing of your refund or exchange.
Changes and Cancellations
Once an order has been placed online, modifications to it cannot be made. However, cancellations can be processed if we receive notification before 12pm the following day after purchase before the item is dispatched. Once the parcel has been dispatched, cancellations will no longer be accepted.
Should you choose to cancel your order prior to dispatch, you will qualify for a complete refund. However, if your items have already been packaged and shipped, cancellation of your order will no longer be possible.
If you would like to cancel your order, we encourage you to email us as soon as possible after completing your purchase.
