Cauliflower Snowball

Snowball is a classic cauliflower variety that is recognised by its early maturation and self-blanching qualities. This compact plant produces a solid, large, snow-white head of tightly packed florets, which can grow to a diameter of 18cm. The heads are protected by large, self-wrapping outer leaves that shield them from sun exposure. With a crisp yet tender texture and a sweet, nutty flavour, these florets can be consumed both raw and cooked typically by, steaming, sautéing, roasting, or adding to soups.
